Tom Hutson

     

Brief Biography

Dr Tom Hutson is the first PhD student to graduate from my lab. He has returned as a postdoctoral researcher funded by the Henry Smith Charity.
 
His project title is “The use of gene therapy techniques to test newly-identified genetic targets for enhancing axon growth in the CNS”.

 

 

Curriculum Vitae

2010 - 2011: Postdoctoral researcher.

2006 - 2010: Ph.D.

2005 – 2006: Volunteered at the Wolfson Centre for Age Related Diseases at King's College London in the field of nerve regeneration under the supervision of Dr Elizabeth Bradbury.

2002 – 2005: First Class (Dual Honours) BSc in Neuroscience and Biochemistry at Keele University. 
 
2000 – 2002: A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Saffron Walden County High School.
